    dotsOde to le Lunedots

The moon shines high above me
    Illuminating the night
    Dispersing the constant darkness
    Eradicating all the fright
    She shimmers ever brightly
A silvery spectre from which one can't hide
With the raw power of a goddess
That can even calm the tide

Le lune is all around me
    Enlightening my path
    Feeling for my loss
    Yet feeling my wrath
For just as inconstant the moon
    My love proves to be
In my dreams she's there with me
But when I wake she flees

To la luna I say this
    That I may never slumber:
"May you shine on me throughout the night
Lest my heart leave me encumbered."
This way my love shall be like light
    That can never go dim
Through the darkness it will glow
    Until a new day begins

i like this. its clever and flows nicely but its not ooover prosey and painstaking to read. im not a fan of this style of writing but i think you did great with this peice and even the shakspearean vibe added a nice touch. well done.
