    dotsYou Write Eulogiesdots

    You write
    for moments past.
    The living words
    impressed in time.
    The tears shed,
    simple ceremony

    Your words a sermon
    of life
    of memory
    and sunlit skies to come.

    You write
    immortal words,
    sheer in beauty,
    calling for innocence.
    You show us
    the cracks in the wall.

    Your verses a history
    of want
    of need
    and mornings after.

    You live
    the words
    you write.

i find myself nodding in agreement with the antipodean samurai apprentice boy.

somehow your effort seems effortless and this somehow clears the way for the words to work: they march down the page entirely out of step yet they are sufficiently connected in a jazz-like fashion to make them seem - effortless...

    and there's the rub.

it wasn't effortless because you write of another's effect on your soul and your waking self. and it's done clearly and succinctly.

the depth and breadth of the effect are for later maybe but what we have is enough for now: enough for us to nod in the way that an antipodean samurai apprentice boy and his northern pugilist oaf of a pal might...

this is an alright collection of words mate.

I like it James, i mean I'd be happy to have written it so this either means I have terrible taste or you did quite well. I think that sometimes I have terrible taste but in this instance you've hit a line drive that might end up sailing over the trees the more a person looks into it. I like the nearness to what is familiar but how it becomes more than that.... i say becomes, but it always is. and the perspective is good, the perspective is good.

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
