    dotsShatter 2 dots

    Scarlet petals they fall
    With the iron tracts
    They weave their bilious weeping
Pomegranate upon the tears of snow
To stagger in the stains they left

    Hunting in the unrepentant white
Pristine footprint for the sake of mercy
    Coverlet for our memory

Who else is there to blame
    As the shatter shades wrangle
    From the silenced night
    Their vitriol commands you
The empty of its whiskey bottle
Rushes headlong to an unforgiving wall
And there is no place to turn

And as sleepless rests within these trembling hands
    To die one more time
    I close my eyes

    The taste of anguish
Old stale wine soaked with all their sickening memories
    To ride upon your smiles
The taste of those unrepentant eyes
    Bitter ever upon the lips

    Valkyrie the only Goddess
    Who knows your darkness
As if the darkening of her beating hooves
Can measure the racing of this heart

    Iron petal it falls
    In scarlet tracts
    The colour they left
    The stains upon your innocence

You are discarded then to “ go figure ”
To be kinder than those reeking ghost
Yet always look into those unrepentant eyes
    And live your life
    As someone else
    Hide behind the ignominious veils
    Lay still
    As quiet as the shatter
    Of your soul
