Description:

Here I try to compare time flow like a river.

Throwing Stones

Once I used to say this-
I have to believe that free will is existant otherwise there'd be no point in living.

Yet I know this-
Things happen for a reason- one action causes a reaction (action->reaction)

Now I think this-
Time is like an ever flowing stream. It is the little unbiased choices we make that fall like pebbles and stones into a strong current. Whether or not they change the flow of time- is irrelevant. What is important is that we do throw those stones and we do choose to stand for our beliefs, even though we might not change the flow of time nonetheless.

I like the ambition of the writing and its willingness to go with the flow if the trial ground pans. I lovew to throw stones and bash the hypocritical .

well I don't want to bash it..cause it made me think and that's always good...I like what it said too...pretty deep/not too confusing for my mind at 3 am

..plus I gotta give you props for actually putting "bash it" as the type of comment you want...i don't have the balls for that...

An interesting and new way to look at the "flow" of time so to speak. I appreciate you putting this here and showing the world your views. I found this very interesting and I agree with nicelyj, I can't say I agree or disagree, I can simply say that it is thought provoking. Thanks again.

A philosopher in the house Thanks for sharing this, I think these are thought-provoking ideas that you present. I won't say that I agree or disagree. I'll just say that I choose to appreciate the thought that you put into sharing this, and hope that the pebble I've tossed causes a positive ripple.
