Description: okay I'm trying to get out of the rhyming phase although this was a well written poem.... so I had to post it to see what people thought. Be honest, don't sugar coat things, and have enough respect for the poet to say it like it is. But please refrain from vulgar remarks lol
Wishing is Pointless -------------------------------------------
life is no mystery
no puzzles no locks
it's actually quite simple
like a little brown box
occupy till He comes,
love because we're loved
eventually it all ends
and our bodies turn to crumbs
it's much easier to forget
it takes to much pain to remember
like today was Monday
and my birthday's in November
we wish and we wish
till there's no stars left in the sky
we learn from our mistakes
but yet we still cry
we expect the impossible
but realize the worst
wishing is pointless
we're still gonna thirst
