    sincerely request
the love of an old soul
    one that inspires and
    stands transcendent
    immanent

    transformable
    according to the moment's need
solid as it pounds love's emanations
liquid as it sears and seals with mine
vapor as we fly across the universe
    to a finer galaxy
    where time and love
    are the same being

Cosmic. Could it be that we are all "old souls" but for the most part are not allowed to actually know or remember it? I wonder sometimes how far back our genetic memory can function. I wrote a poem called The Wisdom of Men (long ago it seems, perhaps you even remember it) about it being time to start devolving back "to the slime".

Anyway, this work of yours reminded me of this perhaps because of the reaching into the elemental states and your second stanza speaks to me of going back as much as forward. Thanks for the hug.

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
