Love, from it can only be joy

If we can treat it properly

A power that must be seen delicately

Like a gem held with great sensitivity

And whatever may try to tear us apart

Love can pull us together and makes us stronger

Helping us to go passed that impossible measure

She would only for me and I only for her

Love will move me to comfort her

Weighing within her sea of tears

Holding her while she conquers her fears

Staying by her side whether the sky is clouded or clear

With loveís power held deep within

Iíd do anything proving what she means to me

Into her arms is the feel of serenity

With this love, I want to stay with her for eternity

I think this is so compelling because it's heartfelt. It has a sense of grounded sentiment that can not be rooted in obscure descriptions of sensory overload adjectives. It's simple, direct, deep and relatable. The way the poem rolls off the tongue is beautiful as well. Thank you for sharing.

What l like about this poem are the nice sentiments and the rhyming is consistent. It kinda melts right into after a few reads. it is a very simple poem an does have a very general point of view like you said it showed what you understand of love. Some more specifics would make it more interesting like what specifically you like about her. The way she slides a piece of her hair back when it gets loose and falls into her face. Or what she may say that lifts your spirits somethings like that
