If you've ever walked along some dry ground you will see that the ground is lacking rainwater, nourishment, general care you might even say. And because of this lack of nourishment, the ground is cracked and you can see inside the ground and what comes out of the ground, all the bugs and weeds that you would rather not look at.
I started thinking about how this concept applys to alot of things in the world. Things like skin, trees or wood, even metal (when you think about rust).
So how much lack of care does it take before the human spirit is cracked, broken or split open. How much abuse can a person take before their mind is destroyed and the thoughts corrupted. When you can see one's demons leaking out of them, something is wrong.
We, in this state, have lost the will to cover up our true persons, making us what the beautiful people laugh at. Unlike the ground, we will not try to heal but only stay in the pit that circumstance and fate have cast us into. We are healed here, we know this place. We are unlike the world, what you see in us is us. We hide nothing, you can probibly see all we are on the surface.
Through the cracks of the broken spirit is a dim light that is the light of perserverance and will power which everyone can see but few will try to fix. Most will just make the light dimmer without knowing. Not knowing until that light is darkened for eternity. Not knowing until...
