They ask me who are you

The stars a myriad map dusted, whispering, home

As their light filters through the tears
    The hot, acid sting
Drags this choke from my throat
    And breaks through every chord

As I perched on the brink
As some release, relief, could take me there

    Away from this un-edified Earth
    Its constructs of brick
    Its struggle to, never connect
    But simply, forget

    The darkness sings
And I sift, through astounding beauties

    And nothing here is kissed
    Save in reflections and ruminations
Of how does this relate to me
How I, am but the broken part
    Of my own identity

Uncaring in its stomp and glitter
    Its vomit promiscuous and blandishment
    Of numb
These human fools of folly enthralled
Break each other by their own unity of ridicule

    I want to go home

I want to know again the traces
Of those other arts in thought
    To feel my whole
    To feel my part

Where the stars myriad have mapped their welcome
    And breathe remembered
    Not forsaken

Where I am not left alone
    To weep on their vision
Or cry for the sake of their evidence

When I am greeted once again by my family

    And not to be

    So distorted here

    And lose my faith

As I sink beneath this plethora of polish
    Chrome and scramble puddle
    Of having it all

    This sickness infests and infects

    I want to go home

I do not want to feel this aching longing

They ask me who are you ?
    But beyond comprehension
The stars a myriad mapped and dusted, whispering
