Description: Make of this what you will. I originally wrote it because I detest preachers who spread their filth and brain washing to the youth (not all preachers). Also I would like for people to ponder why they believe in the bible when man wrote it, not God. I'm in no way religious, and none of your comments will offend me. I may respond to them and have some questions and maybe debate some things. Anyhow, make of this what you will.
Diaries of the Damned -------------------------------------------
The light of dark shines
on our corrupted souls.
The sun no longer penetrates
the depths of our mind.
The rules and religions
makes us question our faith.
builds and deluges
our soul in a maelstrom of manipulations.
Preachers brain wash the vulnerable,
spreading their man made ideals
destroying the youth.
It drives away nonbelievers
as Satan\'s tongue speaks.
He speaks through the righteous,
and entrapts the ignorant.
Yet the puritans wonder why
we hide in the shadows.
When they are the ones,
the ones who shrouds morals.
Men are flawed and lie,
so why follow creed?
It all leads to nowhere;
to dellusional salvation.
Children are weeping and starving
under the great Sun.
Death permeates the air meaninglessly,
leaving a stagnant smell in the air
poisoning the "lost".
Yet, we ponder why,
why the "lost souls" don't flock;
cross over to "piety".
Mourn over the damned ones,
judge the unholy,
but you are no holier than thou.
Hypocrites are as flammable,
So let the souls burn,
while the damned laugh.
Fools only follow doctrines of aspersions.
Yes, I hate morbid preaching too! Makes you want to get out there and blow something up, doesn't it?
Maybe the divine spirit is more important than God, but not supernatural? Albert Schweitzer reckoned that "ethics is the essence of religion", and "reverence for life" is the basis of ethics. He was a theologian and famous organist, and he studied for a doctor of medicine so that he could do missionary work without preaching! He was a christian and I'm an atheist but we agree ...
I think there should be a religion called Commonsensiwism or something like that.
