Where I sat - there --- the window to the left.
Cold - so cold, that damn glass - Words spoke froze (Snow)
I watched as a man with no hand commit theft.
Bread - Ravenous, hoping to attain (Grow)

A smirk you'll find; my old face in disguise.
I believe it was she - Listen --- Eleuin?
So naive in my lust - I failed to be wise,
but that damn succubus was allurin'

Ah, to remember - My life by the deeds-
Alas! - My disease -- cockroach slums (Ghetto)
Ostracized; Abandoned - By my own seed.
Here I sit --- locked away (Lazaretto)

Wash me in dreams - please -- please (Laconicum)
    Yet nightmares exist (Sanitarium)

My God. I have read no better poem expressing just an utter sense of (what seems to be?) helplessness and perhaps alienation. Please do not take this the wrong way, it's probably schadenfruede, but it was actually fun to read. Interesting, rather. The "alas!" bit seemed rather trite, but I still liked it. Nicely done.
