Description:

Crazy Alchemy

To refine by fire
Such a horrible process
I burn and burn
And scream at the screen
That crazy Alchemy all right.
The whole world thinks we are crazy
They may be right
I think sometimes
Sometimes I don't I prefer
to not
You are amazing
burn us at the stake together if they must

The refiner's fire turns our basic elements into wonderful, beautiful, useful things.

Consider the knife, the sword; the statue, the delicate pendant.

Yes, it is a horrible process if applied to the human psyche. But if viewed differently it can be seen as beneficial rather than harmful. This process is giving you shape, lustre, texture. It is giving you character the untested soul could never know, or at least it could, if you allow it.

Nobody likes to be hammered, heated, or pressed. But all these processes serve to implement changes that can be seen as transformational. Just my thoughts...

But as far as the crazy part goes, I often think the ones we call crazy are the ones who see the world more clearly, or at least through more sensitive eyes. Unfortunately it's those who are more impassive who seem to function best in our society.

We have created a world in which those of us who feel intensely often fail to function. I am one of those. I have trouble at work because employers don't want passion. They want no-nonsense people who'll go in there and get the job done. I'm working on my stoicism.

As far as the actual piece goes, there are some basic problems: Sometimes I don't prefer / to not/ You are amazing... and I want to ask: what is it you don't prefer not to? Because the following lines provide no clue. It's disordered as far as thoughts go.

I suppose it's possible you were trying to communicate disordered thoughts, but somehow this doesn't work.

There is also a problem with That crazy alchemy all right. Maybe you meant to say that's, but I know there can be problems with laeving apostrophes on this site too.

Hope you will be able to glean something positive from these comments.
