    -------------------------------------------

The same dull little voice in the back of his head,
    repeating self-righteous dialogue.
All he could do was dig his heels in,
    dragging across the pavement.
    Salted lips crack here.
    Falling -
Its head cracked; flooding out directions - on a meth high.
Black coffee didn't have shit on it.

He said he could dig himself a grave; jump right on in.
    Write a napkin eulogy.
    Insomnia -
Friends? of the voice in his head?
Prodding his mind - hours and hours flew by.
    Ending
All of these gravel roads end the same.

Down and down he goes -
Down that same old gravel road.
    No
No more reasons to play this over

He spoke of one place to hide.
    No
All of the voices sound the same again
    No
All of the voices he never knew had gone.
    No
    He was so alone -
    No
He traveled so far to be alone -

He was always close - Secretly knowing they would lead him home.

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
