    dotsThe Return...dots

The Return To St.Mary Of Bethlehem... The Return To Bedlam...

Trapped between the cracks of the past
    - The blood never dries here
    - Echoing a banshee of a tale
A time of abuse - forever, it will last
    Hear the pleas
    - Call to Jesus
    - Prayers for the mother of all salvation
    Lost in a mortal Hell
    - Sold for the twisted pleasure
    - Perverting the perverted
Was it all worth it - in Gods name
    - Chaos in the bed, and with it you'll lay

Return - Return to the fallen
    Return - Return the forgotten
    The return to St.Mary
    - Our mother who nurtured the insane
Why, ask why it must be this way
    - Somewhere inside a light remains - wishing and wishing to shine
    Salting wounds
    - Give them a home
    - Take their soul
    Bedlam of Bethlehem

    - The chittering of the rats
    - Chains rattle and clank
    - Water drop
    Clawing at the eyes
    Infected / Disease
    Attempt to extinguish the flame
History - an attempt to fade
    - White coats and razor blades
    - Chicken wire and chains
    Bound to the walls
    - Caged

    - Return mother and save
    - Mother of lies / Slut of faith

    Open your eyes
    - Lock away

This has a good (maybe good is not the right word here) historical feel but for better or worse it drifts a little, and perhaps like the subject matter is somewhat mad. Chittering, I like that. Water drop is calling out for an "ing", perhaps cut it to simply "drips" or "dripping" and leave the rest to the imagination?
I want to scream just to fit in.

It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
