Just when you think your already dead... someone can always bring you back... if you let them.

It took a man, a real man
To crawl through the depths of another broken soul
He was beaten and bruised from the very beginning
conquering and sweeping aside anything in his way
Only making him a REAL man

A broken girl, older than a woman
Not by age, but by life itself
Swimming in the darkness with broken arms
Creatures, one by one, biting off their share of food
Knowing her body has been claimed,
She stopped and let her arms afloat to look up at an empty sky

Another set of arms reached for her lifeless body
Another set of empty eyes locked into hers
The empty sky turned red with hate
The waters turned and waves rolled over
But he held on despite her last breath

Two worlds collide between the now and then
A break in the laws of nature
The very touch of one TRUE man
and the beaten sorrow of an elder girl

Forgiveness is the way to another life

In the end, Hate seems vivid, but Forgiveness is what lack in most souls, yet your poem reminds me how I need to believe. Thanks.

Loved the end "Forgiveness is the way to another life" I believe in forgiveness we all find freedom from pain and punishment to ourselves and others, liberating us to a new life. Well put.
