People care about so many petty things that they find self worth in things which make them just invisible

Make the font bigger!! Double Spacing Back to recent posts.

Write away your history. for nobody will care...
Explain your days of glory, so they twist them into shame...
Boost your ego all you want, you still aren't worth two cents...
Go back and try to fix it, it wont matter in the end...
Do whatever you need to do, it all ends up the same...
Your soul is still so fragile, just another empty shell.

Wow, I relate to this. Maybe in the superficial parts... because when someone tries to tell you about themself and you kinda find yourself zoning out thinking, "uughhh!!" And then when you try telling someone your own story, heck, who knows what they're thinking.
This is interesting in that there are so many people who will do whatever they can just to boost their ego. Like you said, all the petty things.
But what about the people that really are... invisible? Like they don't go out seeking all this attention? Maybe the people who aren't so egotistic cancel out all the egotistic people? And then the people in the middle, who are they?
Anyway, sorry, got a bit side-tracked.
And if someone's soul is so fragile, is that why they need all this attention...?
But using 'empty shell' really describes what kind of person they are, really well. Just another brick in the wall...
Anway, I had like a million thoughts on this and probably (un)successfully documented a few of them into actual words.
    Thanks for sharing :)
