dotsThe Psycho Fairy From Tucumcari dots

I was sitting on my suitcase
with my thumb out and crying,
wondering if I would ever feel
    anything but blue and confused.

    My woman had left me.
My dog up and died from distemper.
I was dead broke and wasted from hunger
    bummed out on the highway,

waiting for a ride to anywhere but here.
Oh, I was on the wrong side of lonesome
and crying. I felt just like dying
right there on the blacktop. Oh, it was

just about twilight and I was just about ready
to lay down forever and rest by the roadside.
When the lord sent me an angel to soothe
and to guide me to heaven. Yes it was

just outside of Tucumcari, New Mexico
when he came ripping down the road
    on a chartreuse Hog,
and you can bet my eyes were all agog.

With a squeal of tires he came to a stop.
I couldn't help it my jaw just dropped.
Then he smiled and said to me,
"They call me the Psycho Fairy

but you can call me peaches
as long as you bring the cream."
Well he's six foot six and his chest is hairy.
He wears a red cape and a leather thong.

(Point of fact except for his boots
    That's all he had on)
And he rides on his Harley all day long.
Yes he's the Psycho Fairy from Tucumcari.

I dam near melted in his hot brown eyes.
I swear I felt something trickle down my thighs.
I never thought of myself as being someone's bitch
and I damn well knew it was wrong.

I left my suitcase there in the ditch.
I closed my eyes and climbed on board.
That"s when we rode off together
    down that long hot highway.

Sounds like someone got lost on their way to the Burning Man festival.... lol

There are times when you just have to throw caution to the wind and Live It... just so you can tell the story afterwards. :) I loved this visual giggle.

Odd that as I read this I'm listening to Rodney Carrington telling jokes along the same kind of line. I wonder who made this "gay day"? Anyway, it fits in as a multi-media experience. Now to go shopping for a bike...
