    -------------------------------------------

She had a neon halo and phosphorescent wings
blowing smoke rings in back alleys

    She was Vegas pretty
    A voice like an angel

    She turned moths to butterflies
    made me sick with wanting
I got hung up on the smell of the ocean
    desperate to see her again

    she changed everything for me

    She became a jukebox junkie,
    who danced on broken glass,
for men who would never love her

'till the cops found her clothes on the pier

no trace of the beautiful girl
    with the sea foam eyes
    and the broken heart
