    It came like lightning
    Struck me in my heart
    I went down without fighting
And you played your final card
You lured me to your side
And you took away my pride
I had nothing, but had it all
For I had you, and you stood tall
For you are a succubus in mind
And you made me fall in love
From now I'll be watchful to your kind
    And keep my brain above

Ah the ever lasting burn of a lesson from the heart. A pedestal it does not belong on. Pride should always be kept close at hand. Let it be a lesson to last a life time. I fully enjoyed this.
