conversations #30

if i could only write

(this town is) a song
(becoming smaller)
instead of (everyday)
a poem. (that i'm here.)

sometimes (i'm still alone
though) all i see
are words (waiting
for someone to come along

and) letters (save me
from) sentences
and (myself)

jumbled up metaphors

(what it all means)

alluding the true meaning
(is a mystery.) within.
