    Ave Maria-
    she means nothing to me
    but i love her
    for your sake
    and for Jesus'

i went to work this morning
    head in a spin
    teeth unbrushed
and damn! i forgot to take the pill...

    b r e a t h e . . .
(he's on the other side of the world...
the "7 day rule" doesnt apply]

    Ave Maria-
    she means little to me
    but i love her
    for your sake
    and for Jesus'

four times this week she [Ave Maria]
has been playing on the radio
    and every time it sounds new;
every time it makes me miss you; every time
it makes me smile at the number of times
i've been asked when we're having babies
    despite our half world seperation

    Ave Maria-
    she mocks me
    but i smile at her
    for your sake
    and for Jesus'

    i'll remember the pill tomorrow...
