    Description:
I closely follow my favorite comedian on YouTube, Shane Dawson, and one day he asked his viewers to describe their happy place. This is one of my many descriptions I wrote up.

    -------------------------------------------

In my happy place, the scenery kinda looks like Narnia; deep forests with talking animals, where everyone gets along and are friends. In my happy place, I am not awkward, I do not stutter, I am not afraid to be ridiculed when I speak my mind, I am not klutzy. In my happy place, I am graceful, humble, sensitive to the feelings of others, understanding, and I always say what needs to be said without making a fool of myself or hurting someone's feelings. In my happy place, there is no past to haunt me, only the wonderful times I share every day with my friends who stand by me no matter what and wouldn't stab me in the back. In my happy place, Life is Perfect.

      i second blue monk's emotion!

a happy place where we can all share our words and be inspired by others' works...

this place is great for that...

your piece exemplifies the contrasting but wonderfully intriguing differences in poetry ...a genre with so many genres within the genre....

Your place makes me happy too! As to real life, most people worry too much about the little things that matter not. The world itself as I perceive it is truly amazing, as are the souls who write their own thoughts for us to share. My own happy place is found by appreciating such gifts that come before me.

i like the way you repeat...like the speaker is trying to convince herself that this is her happy place...or saying it all over again because maybe she just doesn't believe that happy place actually exists...and she is trying to convince herself.

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
