Just putting a few thoughts down. Eventually will change it, maybe to add more.

Do we cry today or tomorrow for her death? Or should we rejoice in faith and hope that she stands before our God?

We do cry, for we are sad at the loss of a wife, friend, grandmother, and most of all a person.

She was never meant to die, but to live. As we should be reminded of ourselves. We are all reminded that we were meant to live, not die.

Yet here we gather in a moment, and for some of us time slows, others time quickens...because death still stings our emotions even as it lost its sting to our souls.

Grandma lived a faithfilled life. She prayed rosaries, and in her heart carried great and grand affection for her friends and family.

Christians hope for the dead, and so do we for her, believing in virtue and mercy. Through God's mercy, He bestowed a virtue upon her for great affection, yet in her humanity we didn't often recognize it. For she sometimes hid it as humans are often to do with gifts given to them.

She was and is human. Death cannot take that fact and make it into falsehood. We loved her, through her weaknesses as well as her strengths. And moreso we acknoweldge that in knowing her we are who we have become and she was made herself through knowing each of us.

This is the power of love...to build, and construct, and develop. She is physically absent, seperated body and soul, yet she lingers in our memories and in our beings. All that we are in some way we each owe to her.

She lives through blood in family and in the communal bond of friendship. Let us honor her by living well. Let us believe in God, for only in Him dwells Hope. Hope, we must have as foundation for our trust in a true future. We will see her again...

      I like this...
It has a good vibe and it provides for a very happy ending, in the end for us all. I personally am not a believer but I still awe at our happenstance and anxiously await to find out what happens....at the end of this life.
    Good write and thoughts.
