    dotsA Woman's Strengthdots

    The first woman this
    The first woman that
    Yes, we're breaking walls
    Writing our names
    In the books of history
    Wide grins on pictures
    To show the world
    That yes we can -
If we push thrice as hard

    Bravery and strong nerves
    Is needed to throw ourselves
In the mouth of a shark
    To prove ourselves worthy
    Of being more than nothing
    Confidence needs to shine though
And a raw motivation to succeed
    Without that, we remain nothing
Rotting away in our closed closets

Itís a girl's world, they say
When a boy isn't the reason behind
    A giant spoon in a Haagen-Dazs
    When a woman's sexuality isn't
What shines through first in the media
When her choices aren't based on
Whether it will please him or not
When people notice her presence and
Wonder where she found such strength
