    Blow, Blow, Thou Winter Wind

    Blow, blow, thou winter wind.
    Thou art not so unkind
    As manís ingratitude;
Thy tooth is not so keen,
    Because thou art not seen,
    Although thy breath be rude.
Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly:
Most friendship is feigning, most loving mere folly:
    Then, heigh-ho, the holly!
    This life is most jolly.
    Freeze, freeze, thou bitter sky,
That dost not bite so nigh
    As benefits forgot:
    Though thou the waters warp,
Thy sting is not so sharp
    As friend rememberíd not.
    Heigh-ho! sing, &c.

Act II, Scene 7 from As You Like It by William Shakespeare (1600)

i think Will would get a kick out of the comments on this piece.

all he would need is for someone to say....

    Marlowe writes better.

I admire the words you chose, but i felt you forced the piece and im a firm believer poetry should come from the heart, but you are a very talented writer, and it is a beautiful peace

good job! It has a smooth rhythm which is interwoven with the words. It is that i started reading it and broke my rhythm at the last fullstop. Nice job. :)

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
