    dotsA-Z story for fundots

A little boy was dressed in white.
But his sister was dressed in red.
Could it be they did not match?
Did Mom think they were different?
    Even after all these years?
    For they were never apart.
    Going here and there together.
    How could they not match?
    It was a scary thought.
Just thinking about it made them cry.
Kind people stopped and gave them hugs.
Loving animals purred and licked their hands.
Mom cradled them in her arms.
No one laughed for it was sad.
    Only sad cries were heard.
    Plus it was raining now.
Quick as a flash they hurried home.
    Running from the rain.
So fast they ran and ran.
Till they could run no more.
    Up the stairs they climbed.
    Very high was their house.
When they reached the door they went inside.
    X-rays wouldn't be needed today.
Yells of joy echoed for now there was a rainbow.
Zoos would have to wait till tomorrow.

Interesting concept. I like the idea and may give it a try myself. I enjoy a good challenge.
