    Description:
This is my third entry to a story I'm writing. the ones before being "dismantled pieces" and "fallen angels." they're stand alone chapters, for now. The next few will actually follow itself through for a while. >.<

To start reformation, you have to destroy it

The sounds of a beating heart echoed in the girl's mind as she hid in the closet. She was clinching a bloodied knife in her hand, her arms wrapped around her legs, as tears fell down to the ground.

She could hear the sounds of heavy boots from outside the door, and men whispering in a language she couldn't understand. The footsteps stopped right outside the door.

The door flew open, and the girl let out a scream as she heaved the knife over her shoulder and swung it down. Before the knife could even hit anything, she felt a firm hand grab her arm, and the sounds of bones cracking as she felt a shock wave of pain from arm.

The knife fell, and clattered loudly on the ground as the girl was tied up, and stuff in a bag. Two men in knight suits carried her out, and tossed her in a wagon.

Time seemed to speed up as the girl trashed in the bag. She was scared; she had seen her whole family slaughtered in front of her for no reason. She knew they did nothing wrong, but these men wouldn't leave.

Eventually, she felt the ground beneath her room; they were dragging her somewhere. She cried softly as she tried to claw herself out of the bag, to no avail. Eventually the bag was opened, and the man grabbed her by her hair and pulled her out, tossing her in a cage with a few other girls.

Smirking, was a tall and slender man, whom she recognized as the pope. Lord Grigor. He was the very one who locked the cage, for he carried the keys with him where ever he went.

"Why?!" she screamed at him, "Why are you doing this?!"

"Because, the reformation of mankind begins with sacrifice.

She took a step back, she didn't know what that meant. But what did it matter? She grabbed the bars of the cage and shook them with all of her might. "LET ME OUT OF HEAR!"

He pope chuckled, as he took a step closer to the cage. In one quick movement, he placed his hand next to her cheek, caressing it for a moment before a wave of energy threw her across the cage. "Soon, soon you'd be freed". He turned around, and laughed as he walked off.

    ---------

"My lord, almost all of the preparations are complete. In just two more days, we can begin the process", Le-Pierre told the pope as they neared each other.

"Great", Grigor replied, his voice low so no one could hear them. "When the moon shines red tonight, slaughter the girls. Allow their blood be the essence that opens the veil and leads us to the world of god."

Le-Pierre nodded, "Soon, we shall be gods ourselves"

If only this weren't so true. Women have been sacrificed on the whims of power mongers forever. Popes fear powerful women...always have.
