    dotsA Passion of Hopedots

    'Tis drops of coal
    springing from a furnace
    Chipped log pieces
    with charcoal pretense

    The heart of man hardens
    with every encounter,
    and then
    Dissipates during life's disasters

    Possiblities of

    As the sun's horizon slowly fades;
so the night rises in gloom
to greet the gleam of shimmer
    Only the moonlight creates.

    Though the night folds
    the light ascends -
    there is a hovering
    over of
    possibilities of

As forceful as the tidal waves
thrashing ' gainst the mountain's cliff
The crescendo of a tsunami rising to its peak,
so is the passion of two lovers

yes, like the change...smoother and illuminates the poem a bit more.

"the heart of man hardens with every encounter"

and for some it never softens again...

but this poem presents hope it can...with the strength of a tsunami two lovers find that crescendo that seemed once to be gone forever.

the wording of this is superb...the images swirl and break upon the shores of the reader's mind just like the waves of the tsunami...

    really wonderful stuff.

one glitch..."the night folds/ and descends"
