Tarot Card IV: The Emperor The card reminds me of my Dad who I miss every day. I am blessed because he was in my life for as long as he was and I have been blessed with the help of others who keep lighting the way forward. Still, I miss him and no matter what my age, I never stop needing him.

    Walking 'cross the misty field
I prayed that it was true
    Bathed in silver
    Moonlight blessed
I knew it must be you

    My visions shimmer
    Past my reach
    My dreams surreal and more
The veil has parted just a bit
    I shiver on the shore

    Dad I miss you everyday
I need you as I speak
    Confusion is my middle name
    I'm lost and burdened....See?

You left us on a winter's night
    and flew toward spring in
    Phoenix flight
    I watched in awe
    As you took wing
    Grief awakening

    I've kept my promise
    Faced my fears
    Embraced the days
    Eye's bathed in tears

    The mist won't
    keep you here today
    No matter how I reach
    You'll hand out feathers
    Then return
    On Angel's wings you leave

This write was beautifully colored with imagery, making it very enjoyable to read. I really liked the line "Eye's bathed in tears". You are very strong for being able to write this. I know I would find it extremely difficult to portray those feelings in the same position. Keep it up : )
