    Stand up
    walk out the door
    and I am the flame
    illumintating the night sky

    Safe
    warm
    I'll keep you
    tonight

    Don't fear the heat
    Lets burn away
    indiscretions
    broken dreams
    regrets

    Let it all burn

    Stand up
    walk out the door
    and I am the flame
    keeping you

    Close your eyes
    feel the heat
    Know its touch
    it's warmth

    Safe within these
    arms
    heart
    eyers
    home

    I'll keep you

    Just stand up
    Walk out the front door
    and I am the fire
    ready to illuminate your life.

Kinda reminds me of Wordsworth...I am America. I think that fire is a great symbol to work with in expressing love, I have written a poem like that myself. Fire is raging, fire is warm, fire can burn, fire is essential, fire is bright, fire is beautiful, fire can be extinguished.
