    Child of the Rising Sun

    I. The Prophecy

    I am spinning, ever dreaming,
Wrapped and reeling in your love.
I am proud, i am confident
The future bears our woven blood.

As a nightly vision of divinity
    Defines, through song, a prophecy,
"Love lines drawn in the comming dawn
Shall sow the gift of nobel seed".

"As the fruitful swoon of sun and moon,
    Giving birth to lovers' bloom,
Shall adorn thy morn' with fragile form,
A Child, waking, in lovers' womb".

II. In the Wake of Vision

    Eventide, sweet ebon night,
Imbue fair hue through lovers' heart.
For the love of two in twilight view
Shall embrace thy race in a work of art.

The flowing form of her cherub face,
In reflection of her mother's grace.
Or the glowing pride in his youthful eye,
A mirror to his father's gaze.

    Broadened bounds of eternal beyond,
    Lain foundation of perfect creation,
    Renaissance through infant mirth,
    Define the worth of revelation.

    III. A Lover's Prayer

    Father, defined in august gold,
Resound the sound of my reverent soul.
For this vision of our youth in love
I bear my heart and hands to mold.

Heed the call of a humble man.
Lead me Father, through lovers' land.
I pray to thee in veracity
For I live to love and understand

Though all that lives is born to die,
The love we share is born to fly.
Our child of the rising sun,
In love, will live to bless the sky.

For, thin, the lines of love and lust,
Sewn together in a single stem,
Shall withstand the trials of eternity
With my wife and child in love... amen.
