    Description:
it's late at night, and it's not really that great. It needs work but I thought it hit all areas in which the world really needs to think about what we are now compared to what we were years a go. We've changed as a society haven't we? I think so, we've become really selfish human beings. This poem is what really lets you know whhat really needs to change in a society as a whole. We can't really stop the crime, the murder, the hungry, the homeless, the hate, the war, but can we help out each other. Certaintly!
    Enjoy!

    -------------------------------------------

What kind of people are we if we walk away from a pile of destruction?

What kind of people are we to fail upon instruction, to have
no limits or boundaries in life and just stay stuck in our own sensations

What kind of society do we live in if we repeatedly destroy the path of motivation

Who are we to stomp on the ground
we call our own land? Why can't we all remember gods word and not kill but hold hands?

Can we even call our world our world if all we do is trash it?
When we think our aphorisms have changed, we turn around and let our benevolence just melt like acid
What must it take to realize when enough is enough?
What must it take to realize that important things in life aren't just stuff.

What must it take to turn off that prejudiced light, while other kids are hiding to survive for their lives at night
What kind of people are we if all we do is waste energy on things that don't matter? What will it take to become one society again and climb up that grateful ladder?
What if we stood our grounds and heard the
    homeless cry?
Would we offer them a place to stay or still continue to walk on by?
What kind of people are we if altruism turns to dust, How long will it take for us to realize enough is enough?
Our life is on this planet, so it shouldn't become a senseless tragedy
so let's try to Pick up those broken pieces so we can learn to live happily

"What We Become" I like the title and the message is clear. We've become so absorbed in ourselves as a society we forget to lend out a hand to those who really need it. We all can make a difference whether it's in one life or many. What will you become? I hope you become the change you wish to see in the world :) Good stuff! Any critique I have would just be on grammar errors like changing "lifes" to "lives" "repeadtly" to "repeatedly" nothing a little proof-read can't fix :)
