    -------------------------------------------

    Desk is cluttered as always
    Random stuff thrown everywhere
Made some plans to organize and reorganize
Just don't seem to have the urge to do it though
Sometimes I look at it and it feels like everything is at its proper place
    Random stuff of various kinds
Things that can be easily discernible are:
    CDs
    DVDs
    Pens
    Pens
    and more Pens
    Paper - lined
    Paper - plain white
    Paper - with drawings
    Paper - with writings
    Scribbles
    Thoughts
    Plans
    Dreams
    Desires

And books - so many books to read so little time, so I just take the easy way out, I pile them up and don't read them
    Just look at them
A pile of books have a certain beauty to them

Well, it is a New Year - so time to actually set somethings in motion
    Roll the dice
And hopefully I'll get to pass go and collect 200 white chocolate macadamia nut cookies
    Some people don't enjoy those
    I don't care
    Life goes on

I met a very interesting person - he was giving a talk
and we had a quick conversation afterwards
We started talking about one of the people we both admire

"The great ones are all bonkers man - be bonkers. Those who don't understand - let them be, life goes on. They'll go their own way and we'll go our own, and who knows, just because we dared to be different and original - things happened. People are afraid to be unique, they want to belong and they want to be an individual - such a paradox. The simple thing - forget belonging, if everyone is an individual then we can all belong as individuals, deep, huh? Just have fun, be bonkers and everything will fall into place - life is way too short."

So the conclusion - be bonkers.

And a Happy New Year :)

This was really refreshing, life goes on, yes it certainly does. I liked that you kept this consisent with that theme, that the structure supported that concept.

I can definately relate to this piece, I have a desk of my own with piles of books and clutter that I would like to attack.
