dotsThe Poets Of Our Time ( Not Finished )dots
    -------------------------------------------

Where are the poets of our time?
Lost across the sea of time?
    Oceans away fighting-
    Words not worth writing-

Where are the poets of our time?
    Sleeping safe, forgetting the time?

We're all writing (we're on this site, right?), but we're not getting published because we don't have MFA's (I could just be speaking for myself here, haha) in creative writing. That's my humble opinion anyway. If you find literary magazines there's still poetry aplenty going around. I found one called 32 Poems, and I like a lot of the poetry that comes out of that one.

there is something that haunts me about this...

the last line...how many would be poets aren't writing, aren't giving in to the muse.
    ignoring the calling---

the talent lying dormant--either because they refuse to use it or don't even know they have it.
