    dotsNothing But a Dreamdots
    -------------------------------------------

You are nothing anymore but a dream to me.
Haunting me in the night, arousing me of the day,
Reflections of you, they never fade away.
My mind never seems to catch a minute to be free.

A prisoner of my own thoughts, unable to stray.
Reminiscing the way our intimacy use to be.
Tangled in your arms still as if it existed today.
Overlooking that it is all but an illusion I see.

You are a dream, its time for you to fade away.
So I am done chasing my dream, time to let it be.
Time to escape from this prison, leave me I plea.
Unwrap me from these memories, please obey.

This is a beautiful piece of art and as of last night it really calls out to me since my bf left me when I needed him the most

Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed reading it. The last two words of the poem really stuck out to me. (Please obey). I almost wanted to suggest that you change it, but now I can see it brings a urgency to the poem.

Sometimes a dream is hard to get rid of, mostly because it is hidden in secret. All a dream truly is, is a burning passion or
a desire of the heart. If you dream of being a dancer or a singer it is because you have a desire or a passion for it. If you dream of being with a person.. it is the same. If you are trapped in a dream as your poem suggest, it because you heart knows this is the only place, it can be with this person. It is your heart that is holding you captive in the dream.

    Love and peace,

    Christie

Sometimes love hurts and love haunts;and we are left with the haunts and the memories. There are many who will nod knowingly at this and you have done an excellent job of writing it.

    Thanks for sharing.
