Lady lips lingered lies Slipped through cracks Of lipstick Free By and by rush in currents of Mother blood and Father Rye Mark her cheeks No surprise Fetch a pretty penny For a lass that Can undo The strings of nature Carry the moon Between her thighs Lies slip through the cracks breathe in truth die |
i see much double meaning through this...two uses of "lies" "slipping through the cracks" she lives a lie yet in reality her plight in life is truth...and she gives of herself without reserve...lying and lying... carrying the moon between her thighs, that many a guy would like to lasso... "Buffalo Gal can you come out tonight!" i like the implications in your work...less is more...and you create so many possibilities of double meanings--- i like abstractness and suggestiveness...use it much myself. look forward to reading more of your work. jacob | Posted on 2012-05-15 00:00:00 | by jacoberin | [ Reply to This ] | |
