Description:

Cruel Intent

Only the reign of cruelty
The mask of happy intention spits
Contented smiles of idiot deception
The twisted dagger regurgitated

We cannot live

Whose choice is this
To hold by semblance of the truth
The truth whose tongue is couched in a lie
We cannot live
And by paltry fashion
And blind acceptance
So we squander all of life

This last resort of habitual damnation
Spouted for a grip on the future
We walk the same path
Endlessly

Generation after generation
Follow in the obedience
Of threat and torture
That violent institution
Of humanities continued governance

We cannot live
Save to feed the unremitting wealth
As parasites hang in the gnawing of our souls
We build our lives
To the prosperity of their perpetual
Propaganda

Habitual by cruel intention

These lives subservient
These facades of love
These easy excuses for contentment
Are the cinema stools
And television screens
Of lives predetermined
By slavery

You cannot live

As you swim through the technical contraption
As denial festers dark
And the price of your comfort
Is the small change of starving children

When every tactile illusion
Savagely built to define your world
Is counted in the cost of suffering
Of someone else

Only the reign of cruelty
The mask of happy intention spits
Contented smiles of idiot deception
The twisted dagger regurgitated

We cannot live
