Let this hour take me not to my darkest place,
But if it does, I shall accept this challenge with grace.

    dotsUpon My Darkest Hourdots

Upon my darkest hour, I gaze into your eyes
And in that briefest second of connection
I release the tension, of all that I despise.

I am strong in my depleting strength
I am sane in my deteriorating state
I am soulful in my defective spirit
I am everything in a world of nothing.

Upon my troubled thoughts, I gaze into the sky
And in that flash of peace, I see the stars align
Until the clouds amass, the truth deforms into a lie.

I am worried in my concrete intellect
I am wrecked in my muscled presence
I am worthless in my valued traditions
I am nothing in a world of everything.

Upon my time of desperation, I gaze inside of me
And in that meditative journey, of seeking solace,
I release the energy that had me breathing heavily.
