    Description:
Staria had always been a quiet girl. She kept to herself and had never had a real conversation with anyone in her life. Sad it may be, but really, anyone who saw her would chalk it up to her lack of motivation. She looked so bored everyday about everything going on around her that the reason always became apparent: she didn't care at all. Whatever happened had nothing to do with her. Upon meeting Nathaniel, the student body president, well, all anyone can say is that he changed everything for her.
[note: Nathaniel, Castiel, and Ken will be the only things related to My Candy Love in this story. Therefore, this is not a true (at least not 100%) fan fiction.]

    dotsMaybe It's Boredomdots
    -------------------------------------------

It's the first time I'd ever felt anything!
"That is, something other than boredom," she muttered to herself.
So bored, so bored, so bored. That's what I always thought to myself. A constant chant in my mind.
"But that's not very productive, is it?"
Still bored. Whenever she thought she should stop using the 'b' word, she never did. Just didn't feel like it. Stopping takes effort because it'll lead to new thoughts, and new thoughts lead to feelings, and feeling is just no good.
"No good, no good, no good."
What the heck is she mumbling to herself about? The crazy, silent girl's talking to herself again. Why does she always do that? She's bored of us, so she'd rather talk to herself? What a loser.
I can hear it all. Those things they're thinking. I can hear them. Everything my classmates are thinking, everything they're saying. But do I care? No, and they shouldn't either! But that's just boredom talking.

Truthfully, she wasn't saying anything aloud. It may look it, but actually she was dreaming. She knew it. She'd never say a word of what she was thinking, so she must be dreaming. She didn't really write a "diary", either, which seemed to be what she doing in her dream.
    It's because of Nathaniel.
He's making me dream, damn him. To top it off, he's making me dream about being in school?! The place he goes to?! The place he's managing as student body president?! The place of total, utter boredom?!

Staria slowly blinked her eyes open. She'd rather die than know what she was just dreaming about.
Blink some more, tired eyes! Don't think about it, don't think about it.
Dream forgotten. She clenched her hands in victory as she got out lazily from under her blanket. Not even bothering to fold or put it back together, she headed toward the bathroom directly behind her bed.
She washed her face with water, taking her time about it. She brushed her teeth vigorously, but took her time about it. She brushed her hair slowly, taking her time about it. Once she left the bathroom, she headed for the nightstand on the other side of the bed and then shut off her cell phone's alarm, which vibrated the instant she reentered the bedroom.
Staria put her hands on both her hips then, trying to remember where she'd tossed the outfit she'd used for school yesterday.
Ah, there it was. The black and red checker patterned shirt was on the gray chair in front of her clothes cabinet and the skinny jeans was hanging on the doorknob.
How'd it get there, anyway? Whatever.
She dressed in the exact same clothes from yesterday, including the same white ankle socks and toes-exposed sandles.
Nah, no socks today. She took them off and tossed them wherever, then stuffed her cell phone into her back pocket. She finally left for the kitchen with her white bag in hand.
Taking out the milk carton from the fridge, she filled a tall glass and drank it all right there on the spot. 30 seconds, as usual. She replaced the carton in the fridge and left the empty glass on the counter as she headed out the front door.
Not in the mood for bread this morning, huh, stomach? Whatever, it's time for school anyway.
She still thought Ball Tech High was a weird name.
