    -------------------------------------------

    Where did she go?
The woman who didnít care about
Nail varnish, face powder, and eye lash curlers.
The one who wore pants with strawberries on them.
And shirts that were a little too big.
She could wear anything and still walk around
    With such beauty and elegance.
I wish she could see that when she looks in the mirror.
Instead she sees grey strands and smudged eyeliner.
What happened to the woman who loved sunflowers?
    Sheíd make them grow as
Tall as she was. She was so proud of them.
She was so proud of us. What happened to the women
Who picked fresh blackberries with us during the summer time?
They were warm as they baked in the afternoon sunlight.
    She loved it.
What happened to the women who didnít care
Of what others think of her? What happened to the women
Who wasnít afraid to get her hands dirty? What happened to
The women who was independent, and strong-hearted?
    I miss her.

If only this one is written for me...this is really sweet. but part of growing and becoming a better person is change and that's something we cannot control. I'm insecure too as a woman I think somehow we ought to feel that way especially when we become older. Its n normal to feel that way and its okay to change too.
    thanks for the interesting read..:-)
