    Itís nice to see
    Under that ninja skin
    That thereís still someone
    Who needs her friends

    Iím bound to her
    Most precious plea
    Said the slip of sand
    As it kissed the seaÖ

I've often wondered at the sheer hubris behind the fact that littoral rhymes with clitoral. As strange as it might seem the fact you seem to have equated ninja skin with my concept of guidon guile. I agree you can't just go being genocidally xenophobic about it. One must consider the value of company even though perhaps it has little to no actual metaphysical validity on the mystic symbiosis. I too am happy the woman still enjoys social dalliance. Where would we be without this primal urge from her?

    Hi there Bill,

I hope you are doing well. I must say I liked the first stanza a lot. It is fierce and kind of sweet at the same time. But as this isn't labeled as a poem I can't judge it as one.

I do get the idea of the first stanza but I can only assume that in the second that you might be saying goodbye to something or someone.
I enjoyed the imagery displayed there but I still wonder why you chose to cut the first and the second line which are sort of meant to go together somehow and instead decided to go for an awkward line break taking into account that these are random thoughts?

Well, that's about it my friend. Take care.

Ok, I'll admit it. I don't get. But I like it anyway. Maybe that's all we can ask.

      War games brings flashbacks both
    cinematic and literal. Ninja just
    elicits Japanese dirty tricks and
    unfathomable suicides.
    Anyone related to either needs
help. That you are bound to her
elicits sympathy. At least the sand
slip has a chance to reform after
    storm, do you?

the sea needs the sand just like a person needs friends...we may act sometimes, and think sometimes that we don't need anyone. we get pretty high and mighty...just like the sea gets high and mighty with its large waves and angry turbulence, but in the end...we cannot do it alone.

it is feeling needed that keeps us going sometimes....

i know this feeling....unfortunately not always a good thing...when we are around users, we often give too much because we like feeling needed, but sooner or later we get fed up and leave...sort of like sand that might be ultimately washed away by the selfish sea...

existing together is what it is all about...i see ninja skin as pride....we often have too much of it.

    i just love this piece...

gives just enough for the reader to take off and feel...
