dotsTitleless - Penned it down without thinking of onedots

In the loneliness of this night,
I have with me hope and a will to fight.

Lost have I been for so long that I don't remember,
The tranquility that I'd once found in love and alcohol.

I don't remember being free ever,
And this feeling has been there since the longest I can ever remember.

Being chained to decipher and understand was not so hard,
As it was to understand and bypass.

I've grown, but still don't wish to have,
I've learnt, but still wish I did not,
I've loved, but still can't say if I wished or not,
I've yearned, for things I wish I did not want.

All I wish now is for going back to what I was long back,
Not learning what I ever did,
Not loving so much so as I did,
Not yearning so much so as I do.

But I know if I did get a chance,
I would make the same mistakes again and dance being in the same trance.

"The tranquility that I'd once found in love and alcohol" I really love this line. This is so true, we usually lost such comforting times.

I like the way you come accross the message and the honesty and strenght you brought to this.

..glad I found this. Thanks for sharing

It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
