Mirror Image

Look into my eyes
And see who I have become
Release yourself from me
Into the ever after and see your
Tomorrow through my eyes

Once I was so young and simple
But in my dying years
Many spirits have taken me to and from life
In my bi polar state

The fire of the souls that rest within
You will feel their heat
and the anguish within me

Take a look
at yourself in the mirror
One day!
Stop and take a real look
At who is looking back
At yourself

Self portrayal
Another speaks through
The image of you that you portray
To others and yourself

Some people may feel they owe it all to their self and the face they see may have no voice
But it will change their life’s passage
Now I see me changing lives
With this new spirit has birthed
From my soul today

Walk away in silence if you must
I leave you with all these words
To each of those who disregard me?
With their life I now confront your face that has been hidden for years
within these secrets of the spirits
I found in the embers of anguish
of my soul

Anew day has awaken me
Inside this room
I have awaken
Above the rest and I
Reach for the sky

Today is the start
Of a new tomorrow and a new day is dawning as the dusk fades away

Inside this room
We awaken
Our bodies are naked
And our souls have healed each other
From our years of missing
Each other’s touch

I really like this because I can relate. and personal poems are great because it has more feeling.

This is ok but I feel it's a bit too personal for the reader to find anything in it...
