    -------------------------------------------

    catching your gazes at me
    and the other way around

    a secret smile shared
    when nothing seems sound

    brushing as we stand
under the table, held my hand

    we shouldn't kiss,
    we shouldn't hug;

    so they tell us

    but I'll always keep
    these moments of our love

Woah, written as if you could see into my heart. This was just vague enough for others to relate; and it was detailed enough to paint a vivid picture for the reader. Thank you for sharing! I almost cried as it compelled me to reminisce on my own experiences. Bravo

This forbidden love is so intriguing. Also very romantic
but not knowing all the details (I so want to know)
all I can advise is guard your heart and try not to turn
it into an obsession because those never seem to end
    well.

this brought me back many years to a certain incident...what we couldn't do but wanted to---eventually we passed on the moment knowing it was best. But the feeling was mutual, the intensity there, the unacted upon chemistry that was knowing look, a feeling, a what if....

better left alone, but at the same time, frustrating to let it get away.

the one thing is, no one would ever know, except us.

hiding your love from the world is painful
not being able to freely show affection sends a fire of yearning in our hearts

    nice write
