    You take me to wonderland,
All purple trees and glassy lakes,
With rainbow meadows and chirping birds
And mountains made out of frosted cakes.
The air swirls with spicy cinnamon and mint.
It whips through the marshmallow clouds.
The waterfall crashes diamonds and crystal,
Yet all we hear soft murmurs, never too loud.
    Warming up the licorice grasses
Is the sunflower in the sky.
She smiles down on us as we,
    Silently walk past by.
The deep pool on dark ink,
    Spills across the night.
The stars glitter and the comets sparkle.
The golden flies take their flight.
    The honey crusted moon,
    Shines a sweet light,
    She sings a lovely lullaby,
    Everything is just right.

I am sure glad I am eating a big plate of fruit right now.
A poem as sweet as this one is
Has me in the mood to go out and do bad things to strawberries like drowning them in melted chocolate and whipping them really hard with cream.

I may even have to call my dentist and schedule
a cleaning. She has a way with naughty teeth.
