Say we can stretch the moon to extend dreams
when we breathe apart bending thoughts
to smoke on an already foggy sky
Together we search a light so still
a world beside our own like Venus
    on our eyes
reminds me, today I said forever is too far away
and not knowing to last from this moment
of groping your wilderness miles away.

We are not the extension of our words
    grasped in airborne lines
But the ground from which our love
    is rooted to the core.

      Nourished by fertile soil
    we stretch ever higher
open our hearts to the sun
    and flower.

Every time you write it takes my breath away and
    threatens to stop my heart.

A poem inspired by another this is just great. I must say the first three lines made my mind roll around. Those are great line that stirs the imagination.I like the contrast between each two lines in the last stanza. You played with the words clearly there I thought it ended well. I read the other poem and it was great as well but damn this is just a different thing.
Well I got two out from one inspiration and you can be inspired with my poems anytime.
