at the end of a midnight drama
she takes in a cloth, feeling the built-in limits
of a touch from ghost fingers.
as these elliptical time of confusion
sunk deep as footprints in snow
the shape of what has come to rescue her.

his absence do not deplete the bone bare faces
of silence possessive of the hours
along with the numbness of the world
words and feelings he wrote again
    where she straws a nest.

she casts a shadow not her own
as the weight of air receives the burden
of his vagueness and mantles her
    death
as love walks in half steps.

I hear a faint yet sonorous bell toll somewhere
In foggy darkness. If this poem was a movie
There would be creeping shadows outside
And a storm would be brewing even while
Our heroine appears to be safe and warm
    inside
I really hope her hero shows up in time,

This is really beautiful. I love the strawing the nest part, and bare bone face lines. It really speaks of loving someone who is gone and leaves you behind without ever really leaving you at all.
