    dotsNever Ending Beautydots

This rose I hold in my hand,
so beautiful and so pure was soon to die,
I knew it would but I was in denial
a rose that stood so tall and sleek
    and never hunched its back,
    it glowed with the sun
    and it drank the rain
    and never would have
    let its life go.

I knew that one day it would
and still I was in denial,
one day I saw one of its
    petals fall to the ground
    slowly but surely it did,
I thought that I would pick it up
and forgive it for letting it fall
but it did not hear me and still
let them all fall one by one to its roots.

    A rose once so vibrant
was now letting its life go
    letting everything fall down,
I still held all its broken petals
I held them close to my heart and forgave it
Its color now a faded black,
the rose was going away in front of me
    it hunched it's back
and faced the ground with guilt now,
but just so that I would not see its face.

It hid from the sun and chose to stop drinking water,
this rose had no petals left on its stem
    and left me alone,
but I will never forget its beauty
    because memories last a lifetime
    and beauty never fades away,
and all its beautiful petals are still red
    in my own eyes
    I look at it now,
    a tear down my cheek
and a seed that was planted by me.

Nothing in this world is immortal. You can cherish the beauty of this world for sometime but not always.

This remnds me at the end of tha movie Inception, like you killed it accidentally by making it kill itself. I am guessing this isnt about a flower, right?
