Life Is Something Like Me -------------------------------------------
Hello, do you know me ?
I am the first time you fell from your bike & scraped your knee.
Or that heart with intials you carved in a tree.
I am the dirt underneath your nails.
Those old used things at a garage sale.
I am the way your hands feel when you've done dishes for an hour.
Or the way you smell after you've gone without a shower.
I am the heartache that comes from a lost love.
And your undying faith in an unknown God above.
I am the pain inside you when a person close to you dies.
And the betrayal you feel when your lover lies.
I am your car when something is wrong.
And the will inside that makes you strong.
I am the mud in which your shoe gets stuck.
I am your amazingly fortunate & your shitty, miserable luck.
I am all you have done, everything you are, everywhere you've been & all you can give.
I am what's real in life & if you don't know me, you haven't really lived.
I may be a little bit of everything but it's my conception of the possibilities of anything that make me feel this way, even more than the pedestrian of my terrestrial equestrian. My sense of wonder as I strain for metaphysically existential sanctity. This may seem abstract but the boundaries of sentience are almost infinite, like the warlock box key I consider the contents of this sepulcher. Although there's a great deal of difference between relative rationality and rational relativity of this is the abode of my muse.
