    .

    There you are
    Playing domestics
    Passing each other

    Cups & saucers

    While I sit
    Being waited upon
To take it all in --

    This apparition
    Of simple bliss.

    Why was this not possible
    When roses bloomed
    In the garden?

is this one of those "you dont know what you got til its gone" kinda deals?

when nothing aligns unlike they promise... when you have the relationship but no roses or have the roses but not the relationship and you sit there watching everyone else who seem to have both and wonder why youre so mutant it doesnt work for you...

cups and saucers go together obviously but i dont know if ive ever struck them as poetic imagery. its refreshing and i really appreciate it.

i also like how cups and saucers are so every day and yet disclose intimacy also because of the conversations involved over cups of tea late at night or early before the day starts

one day it will all line up and it will be wonderful.

      When roses bloomed...

Absolutely beautiful. That phrase held so much more weight and thunder than the whole damn poem. Simply the best thing I've read all week. :)

I felt that the poem could be lengthened to explore that profound jealousy and loss. It was surreal and a wonderful place to be in, I was sad to see it ended so abruptly.

Either way, I applaud this piece. It's got razzle.
